MCP lets an AI agent act directly on your shop: create products, change your design, check your orders. To do that, the agent first has to be linked to your account. Everything starts in the AI section of your admin [à vérifier], which lists the available agents: ChatGPT, Mistral, Claude and other assistants.
Before you start, you need two things:
An account with the AI agent you want to use. The free version works, but it has limits. A paid plan is easier, and you don't need to keep it for long. One month is often enough to get past the limits while you set things up. For example, you subscribe for a month, then go back to the free plan the following month.
Be logged in to your WiziShop admin.
If you don't know what MCP is yet, find out what MCP is and why you should use it.
Connect Claude
Go to the AI section of your admin.
Click "Claude".
You're redirected to Claude. Log in to your account if you aren't already.
Allow access to your shop.
You're back in your admin, and the agent shows as connected.
Connect ChatGPT
ChatGPT isn't connected from your admin. You create the WiziShop connector directly in ChatGPT.
Enable developer mode
In ChatGPT, open "Settings > Security and sign-in".
Go to "Developer mode".
Turn it on, then click "Apply".
Create the MCP app
Go to "Plugins".
Click "Add".
Select "Create an MCP app".
Set up the WiziShop connector
In the "Name" field, enter: WiziShop
In the connector URL field, paste: https://api.wizishop.com/mcp/v1
Select "OAuth" for authentication.
Check "I understand and want to continue".
Click "Create".
Connect your WiziShop account
Click "Connect WiziShop".
You're redirected to the WiziShop login page. Log in with your WiziShop, Dropizi or Evolup account.
Allow ChatGPT to access your shop.
Once the connection is set up, you can ask ChatGPT to take actions in your shop, with the permissions linked to your account.
Connect Mistral
Mistral doesn't connect in one click from your admin. You copy the WiziShop connector URL from the AI section, then create the connector directly in Mistral.
Copy the connector URL
Go to the "AI" section of your admin [à vérifier].
Click the "Mistral" tab [à vérifier].
Click "Copy URL" [à vérifier]. The button shows "URL copied" [à vérifier] once it has worked.
Add the connector in Mistral
Open Mistral and log in if you aren't already.
In the left menu, click "Context", then "Connectors".
Click "Add connector", then "Add custom connector".
In the "Connector name" field, enter: WiziShop
In the "Server" field, paste the URL you copied earlier: https://api.wizishop.com/mcp/v1
In the "Authentication" section, select "OAuth2.1".
Click "Add connector".
Connect your WiziShop account
You're redirected to the WiziShop login page. Log in with your WiziShop, Dropizi or Evolup account.
In the "Choose a shop" field, select the shop you want to link.
Click "Connect the application".
Back in Mistral, click "Try now". A conversation opens with the WiziShop connector already selected.
Allow the agent's actions
When Mistral wants to act in your shop, it asks for your approval first. You have three choices:
"Allow once": the action runs one time only.
"Always allow for this discussion": the agent doesn't ask again during this conversation.
"Deny": the action doesn't run.
💡 Good to know
While you're getting to know the tool, stick with "Allow once", especially for actions that change your shop.
Check that the connection works
Open a new conversation in your agent and ask something simple, for example: "List my 5 latest products." If the agent answers with products from your shop, the connection is active.
Edit or remove an agent's permissions
You stay in control of what agents can do. Go to My Account > My Shop > Manage Users to edit an agent's permissions or remove it completely. This works for every MCP connected to your shop.
⚠️ Watch Out
A connected agent acts with the permissions you've given it. Take the time to read the security and permissions rules before you trust it with sensitive actions.
