This article gathers examples of requests you can send straight to your assistant once it's connected to your shop. Copy a prompt as is or adapt it to your situation: the more precise your request, the closer the result to what you expected. This list only covers part of what's possible. Mostly, it shows the tone and logic to follow when you word your own requests for the other tasks your assistant can do.
A typical morning with your assistant
To give you a concrete idea of what changes day to day, here's a real sequence of requests, the kind you might make on a Monday morning while planning your week.
You start with a quick check: "Give me a summary of my weekend sales." The assistant replies with revenue, number of orders and your best sellers, and you haven't opened a single dashboard.
Next comes the operational side: "List the orders waiting to be shipped." The list appears, and you follow up right away: "Set orders 45821 and 45830 to shipped." Both orders are updated at once.
Then you tackle a task you've been putting off for days: "Create a promo code BACKTOSCHOOL15 for 15% off, valid until Sunday, on the whole Sweaters & Cardigans category." The code is ready in a few seconds, with the exact conditions you gave.
What would have taken a good half hour of clicking between several admin screens fits here into four sentences.
How to word a request well
An effective request states three things: the action to take, the item concerned, and the details that remove any ambiguity. "Lower the price" leaves too much room for interpretation. "Lower the price of the blue wool sweater by €5" leaves no doubt about what will happen.
💡 Good to know
You can chain several requests in the same conversation, and even combine several actions in one sentence: "Create this product listing and publish it, then create a 10% promo code valid on this product." The assistant handles the steps one by one and shows you the result at each stage, as in the example above.
Design
Adjust the design as a draft
"Change the add to cart button color to dark green, as a draft, so I can see how it looks before publishing."
The assistant applies the change in draft mode. You approve it visually before your customers can see it.
Apply a complete brand guideline
"Apply this brand guideline to the whole site: berry red #a51c24, fir green #1e3a2f, cream #fff8ef, gold #c9a45c, Playfair Display font for headings and Lato for body text, rounded buttons. Cover the footer, the promo badges, the menu and the search bar."
Add an animation that respects accessibility
"Add a light animated snowfall to my home page that switches off automatically if the visitor has turned off animations in their browser."
"Add a light animation on the home page images when you hover over them, something subtle, not too fast."
Make the urgency bar dynamic
"Set up my emergency bar to show a countdown to the end of my Black Friday sale, with the text 'Only X days left'."
Customize a system page
"Customize the order confirmation page to match my brand guidelines: rose gold color, Jost font, warm tone in the thank-you text."
System pages (order confirmation, newsletter signup page, etc.) often follow a default style that differs from the rest of your shop. The assistant can align them with your visual identity, as a draft before publishing, like the rest of the design.
Reorganize the shop menu
"Reorganize my main menu: group my seasonal categories under a 'Collections' submenu, and put 'New arrivals' first."
Customize the menu style
"Change the menu background color to cream and set the category text to chocolate brown, to stay consistent with my brand guidelines."
Adapt the shop to a new season
"Get my home page ready for the winter collection: change the banner, feature the 6 new products, keep the rest of the layout."
Customize the category page
"On my Sweaters & Cardigans category page, show products in 3 columns instead of 4, and add an intro banner at the top of the page."
Customize the product page
"On my product page, create a card-style design with the brand as a colored badge and 4 real trust badges under the button."
⚠️ Watch Out
Any change to the design or to a system page goes through a draft before publishing. Your customers only see the change after you approve it.
Product catalog
Create a product listing
"Create a product listing for a merino wool sweater, navy blue, sizes S to XL, at €49.90. Add it to the Sweaters & Cardigans category."
The assistant builds the listing with a title, a description and a price, assigns it to the category you asked for, and shows you a preview before publishing it.
Update a stock level or a price
"Set the stock of the navy blue sweater in size M to 25 units and raise its price by €3."
The change is applied directly to the existing listing after you confirm.
Edit several listings in one request
"Raise the price of all products in the Coats category by 5%."
This helps before a supplier price increase or a margin adjustment, with no need to open each listing one by one. The assistant shows you the list of affected products and the new prices before applying the change.
Duplicate a listing to create a variant
"Duplicate the navy blue sweater listing to create the same one in heather gray, same price, same stock."
Import a product from a URL
"Import this product from this supplier link: [URL], and add a 40% margin to the purchase price shown."
The assistant retrieves the information available on the page (title, description, images, price) and works out the selling price based on the margin you asked for. It's handy for moving fast on a restock or testing a new supplier without retyping every field by hand.
Orders
Keep track of orders to process
"List the orders that have been waiting to be shipped for more than 2 days."
You get the list with the order number, customer and date, and you don't have to filter your orders table by hand.
Move one or several orders forward
"Set orders 45821 and 45830 to shipped."
Retrieve a document
"Generate the invoice for order #45821."
Find a specific order
"Did we get an order from Julie Martin this week?"
Statistics
A quick check on your business
"Give me a summary of yesterday's sales: revenue, number of orders, average basket."
Compare two periods
"Compare my revenue this month with last month's."
This helps you spot a trend without pulling out your usual exports.
Identify what works or what's holding you back
"What are my 5 best-selling products this month, and which products are out of stock?"
Abandoned carts
"How many carts were abandoned this week, and for what total amount?"
Marketing
Analyze a campaign
"Give me the results of my latest newsletter: open rate, click rate, revenue generated."
Turn on an automatic reminder
"Turn on the abandoned cart reminder scenario, with an email sent 4 hours after the cart is abandoned."
Promo codes
Create a code for a sales campaign
"Create a promo code BLACKFRIDAY25 giving 25% off, valid from November 24 to 30, with no minimum purchase amount."
Turn off a code
"Turn off the code BLACKFRIDAY25."
Create a lead magnet for the newsletter
"Create a PDF guide offered to newsletter subscribers, in my site's colors."
Content
Write the legal notices
"Write the legal notices for my shop. I'm a sole trader (auto-entrepreneur) based in France, and I sell [type of products]."
The assistant writes a text that covers the required legal information (publisher, host, intellectual property), which you adapt to your exact situation.
Write the "About us" page
"Write an 'About us' page for my shop, with a warm and personal tone, explaining how the project started and what makes it different."
Write the contact page
"Write the text for a contact page, short and reassuring, saying that I reply within 48 hours."
Write the withdrawal form
"Write the text of the withdrawal form in line with the regulations, for a shop that sells physical and digital products."
Say so if you sell digital products. The withdrawal period and conditions aren't the same as for a standard physical product.
Set up the cookie banner text
"Write the text of my cookie consent banner, in French, with a simple and direct tone."
Change the cookie window to match the brand guidelines and move it
"Change the cookie window to match my brand guidelines and place it at the bottom left."
⚠️ Watch Out
These pages have legal value. The assistant writes a base text from what you tell it, but it doesn't guarantee full legal compliance. Read it carefully and, if needed, have a professional check it before you publish.
SEO
Optimize a listing for search
"Optimize the SEO title and the meta description of the Sweaters & Cardigans category."
Analyze a page's search ranking
"Analyze the search ranking of my 'Merino wool sweater' product listing and tell me what could be improved."
The assistant points out what needs work: a title that's too long, a missing meta description, a poorly optimized H1.
Update an H1
"Change the H1 of the Coats category to 'Women's coats, winter cut'."
Optimize several listings at once
"Check the SEO title and meta description of all my product listings in the Accessories category, and fix the ones that go over the recommended length."
This helps with a global catch-up, without going through each listing one by one.
Create blog posts
"Create blog posts on the topic xyz and schedule them to go live."
Create semantic clusters
"Set up a semantic cocoon on my shop to improve my SEO."
Advanced skills
Some requests call on the assistant's dedicated skills rather than a single action. The result is more elaborate, but it also takes longer to produce:
"Monitor the prices of my 3 main competitors for this product."
"Suggest a redesign of my home page, cleaner, in a minimalist style."
"Generate a visual to promote my new winter collection."
Tell it about your brand universe or your preferences if you have any. The result will then be closer to what you're after.
Affiliate sites (Evolup)
Adapt the shop to a site with no cart
"My site is an Evolup affiliate site, and visitors buy on Amazon. Hide the cart and the customer account, which serve no purpose here."
Redirect to the marketplace with your partner ID
"Add a buy button that links to the product's Amazon page, with my partner ID mysite-21."
On this type of site, a promo code makes no sense because it doesn't apply on the marketplace. Focus on featuring the product or on a lead magnet instead.
⚠️ Watch Out
Always read what the assistant is about to do before you approve it, especially for an action that touches a price, a promo code or an order status. See the article on security and permissions to understand how these confirmations work.
