Understanding the lifecycle of my online store

Your online store evolves through several key phases, from your free trial period to full commercial maturity. Understanding this lifecycle helps you take the right actions at the right time, grow your business, and boost your revenue.

Trial Period

Whether you choose traditional e-commerce with WiziShop or affiliate marketing with Evolup, you benefit from a free trial period. This gives you the opportunity to freely explore the platform, without any commitment, and discover all the essential features needed to manage and grow your online store.

It’s also the perfect time to evaluate how easy the platform is to use, the quality of customer support, and the overall performance of the solution.

The goal is to offer you a secure environment where you can build confidence, refine your strategy, and confirm that the platform meets your needs before moving to a paid subscription.

During this trial period, you can also start the administrative steps required to launch your online business.

At the end of your trial period, you will be invited to activate your subscription by choosing a plan and entering your billing details.

Creation Phase

The creation phase begins once your trial period ends. Our solution allows you to build your online store quite quickly, although this step may take a few weeks or even a few months, depending on how much time you dedicate to it.

Once you’ve defined your store’s business model and created your account on one of our platforms, start by configuring your general store settings. This includes setting up your basic information, adding your legal pages and terms and conditions, and ensuring everything is aligned with your business.

You can then move on to customizing the design of your store. Choose a template, adjust the colors, fonts, and visuals so that your store fully reflects your brand identity and universe.

When the structure is in place, you can start adding your product categories along with your full catalog.

The final step before going live is to choose your domain name and configure your payment methods, and your shipping settings, including rates, carriers, and delivery times. These steps are essential to ensure your store is ready for public launch.

Store is launched

Once the essential setup is complete, you can launch your online store so it becomes publicly accessible and visible to search engines.

Before the official launch, take the time to carefully review your work by performing a full audit of your store.

To maximize your store’s visibility from day one, make sure to connect your site to Google Search Console and activate Google Analytics. These tools will help speed up the indexing of your pages and allow you to monitor your site’s performance.

What happens after your online store is launched?

Once your store is officially live, the main goal is to increase your visibility and drive traffic to your site so you can start generating your first sales. Without visibility, very few visitors will discover your store, and you won’t be able to expect significant sales.

There are several strategies, both free and paid, that you can use to quickly grow your visibility. You can take concrete steps to build brand awareness, attract more traffic, and optimize your store’s performance.
