Google has to index all the internet pages published in the world in its database. It therefore requires a bit of time to update its index. It takes between 10 and 30 days on average for your website to appear in search results.
To find out whether or not Google already knows about your website, Google the following request:
site:www.yourdomainname.com (replace "yourdomainname" with your actual domain name)
If no results are shown, it means that Google hasn’t yet visited your website.
How can I speed up the process?
The first step involves sending all the necessary information to Google for its robots to index your website, send you statistics and begin displaying your website in search results.
Follow the steps below if you have not already done so:
Google lists new pages and new websites in order of priority. If it’s mentioned on your website once it has been launched and if dozens of internet pages link towards you, Google will rightly think that your website is very important and will therefore visit it more quickly.
You should therefore consider focus on obtaining a few high-quality links as soon as you launch your store. Google will follow them and find your pages.
