Create a product option (example: warranty extension)

Let's take the example of an optional warranty extension that you offer directly from the product sheet of a high-end camera.

To create an optional variant, here are the steps to follow:

1. Go to the "Variants" tab of the desired product page, click on "Manage variants" then "Add a variant" and "Create a new variant".
2. Enter the title of the variation (this name will allow you to find your variation later if you want to apply it to several products).
3. Then fill in the second title which concerns the display on the site. You will be able to describe your variations to your potential customer.
4. Confirm this first step.
5. Then add the different choices and click on "Create an option"

As it is an option, the choice "None" is automatically proposed to your visitors.
Then apply this option to your product.

You then have the possibility to fill in the different useful information (reference, price, default choice...).

You will find, under the table of variants, the information concerning the basic product, your main product (the camera in our example).  This information is directly added if you have previously filled it in.
