In addition to the default order statuses offered on WiziShop, you can add two custom statuses to manage your orders more easily. If you manufacture custom objects, for example, you can inform your customers about the progress of their order with a "Work in progress" status. We will see in this tutorial how to customize your order statuses.
Customize my order statuses
First go to Settings > Orders and invoices, at the very bottom of the page:
Here, you will be able to enter two different titles for your order statuses: a title that will only be visible in your administration area, and a title that will be visible to your customers on your store. For example, a “Work in progress” title in your dashboard could be displayed as “In the workshop” for your customer.
Fill in the two fields and click on Add a customized status to save them:
You have just created your first customized order status!
⚠️ N.B.: If you assign this new customized status to one of your orders, you will no longer be able to edit or remove it from the list of your customized statuses. The addition of this status is final.
If you want to edit ( 1 ) or delete ( 2 ) your customized order status, it will have to be done before it is applied to an order:

To check that your new order status is functional, go to Orders & Stats. Click View all orders and check that your customized status has been added to the list by scrolling down the order status menu on one of your orders:
👉 Reminder: If you assign this customized order status to an order, you will no longer be able to edit or delete it!
If you do not yet have an order to which you can apply this status, do an order test on your store like a customer would. Once your customer account is created, go to your order history to check the status of the order:
N.B: Customized order statuses do not generate transactional emails to your customers.
