Create a newsletter

WiziShop provides you with a very powerful email creation tool. It is not a simple text editor, but a real visual tool for creation and layout. In order to manage your email campaigns, simply go to your WiziShop administration area, Marketing section > Manage your email campaigns

The dashboard

This is where you will be able to view your campaigns that have been sent, those waiting to be sent, edit a campaign under creation or consult your list of subscribers. You can also see the number of emails you have and buy more: prices and details of email packs in this article.
To create a new email campaign, select Create an email. Once the first elements of your email campaign have been defined (its name, the subject of the message, your sender name, etc.):

You will have access to the email creation tool.

The email creation tool

The Content tab of the visual tool works by adding drag-and-drop blocks, and you can customize as many elements as you want: number and structure of columns, text, button, image, video, divider, spacer, social sharing, HTML block and RSS item.

The different elements added will then be customizable directly in the builder:

The Settings tab will allow you to configure the language of your emailing, the structure and the background of the page, as well as the style of your texts:

The top buttons will allow you to cancel or restore your most recent changes, see a preview of your email and save your email for later.

To ensure excellent deliverability of your email campaigns, we use the Mailjet service, which is specialized in the field.

👉 Do not hesitate here to consider creating dynamic customer segments to be able to send your emails to certain segments in particular, and therefore target your communications as much as possible

Customization variants

To customize your emails, you have access to dedicated customization variants. For example, your customer's first or last name, email address, customer number, send date, etc.

The list of available variants will be available above the email creation tool. This way, it’s always at your fingertips.

These variants will need to be added directly to the body text of your email.
Note that if the recipient of your email has not filled in the information corresponding to these variants (if it is, for example, a newsletter that you send to subscribers who are not yet customers with you, and for whom you therefore only have an email address), the default value of these variants will be an empty field.
The HTML code generated following your email creation is optimized for sending. The goal is for it to be compatible with all email software and to get through the spam barrier.
A text version of your email is also automatically created by our system for software that does not interpret HTML. A header is placed at the top of the email for readers who want to view the email in their browser, and a footer is added to manage the unsubscribe option and to be able to forward the email to a friend.

Detailed statistics

For each campaign sent, you will find the classic information: number and rate of opening and clicks, error or spam messages, the different links clicked, etc., in the Dashboard tab:

The Contacts tab will allow you to see the details of the statistics related to each recipient of your newsletter. The Last Action column details the last time your customer performed an action (listed in the Status column) on your email. You will also be able to classify your customers by status, to see which of your customers have opened your email, clicked on links, made purchases, etc.:

  • The Error status lists the customers for whom the sending of the email has returned an error (non-existent email address, deactivated email address, full inbox, etc.)
  • The Blocked status lists the customers for whom the email was blocked (Learn more about Mailjet blocks)
  • The Spam status lists the customers for whom your newsletter was marked as spam.
  • The Unsubscribed status lists customers who have unsubscribed from your newsletter.

The last Links tab will allow you here to see the number of clicks and purchases generated by each link, as well as the purchase amount.
