What is the difference between Google Ads campaigns and Facebook/Instagram campaigns?

These two types of campaign have completely different purposes.

With Google Ads campaigns, you intercept users' needs, by placing your adverts on keywords. Users themselves create requests on search engines, and come across your adverts.

With Facebook/Instagram types of campaign, the purpose of your adverts is to create a need in users. You seek out users and try to persuade them to visit your website.
Audience targeting must be undertaken when you set up your campaign, to reach the users who are interested in the products that you sell.
